La Aurora (Santiago)
Founded in 1903, La Aurora is the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic. Here, you’ll see the entire cigar-making process, from leaf to box, and finish your visit by relaxing in their elegant La Aurora Cigar Lounge while enjoying their premium blends.
Tabacalera Díaz Cabrera (Santiago)
At Tabacalera Díaz Cabrera, tobacco is more than a business—it’s a generational passion. Founded by the Díaz Cabrera family alongside partner José Ignacio Vásquez Álvarez, the factory embodies tradition and artistry. With over 50 years of experience, Eladio Díaz—a master of Dominican tobacco—crafts cigars that are true works of art, celebrated worldwide for their quality and heritage.
La Flor Dominicana – LFD (Tamboril, Santiago)
Led by Litto and Ines Gomez, La Flor Dominicana is a boutique powerhouse. Known for bold, full-bodied blends like the LFD Andalusian Bull, their factory tour showcases premium cigar craftsmanship at its finest, offering a glimpse into one of the most respected names in the industry.
La Galera / Tabacalera Palma (Tamboril, Santiago)
Founded by José “Jochy” Blanco, Tabacalera Palma is home to La Galera Cigars. This family-run operation brings you from tobacco fields to rolling rooms, where every cigar is created with care. The tour highlights the entire journey from seed to finished cigar, reflecting a tradition of excellence rooted in passion and precision.
Tabacalera La Alianza (Santiago)
Owned by legendary cigar maker Ernesto Perez-Carrillo, Tabacalera La Alianza has become a pillar of Dominican cigar excellence. With more than 40 years of dedication, Ernesto has crafted some of the most acclaimed cigars in the world, including the award-winning E.P. Carrillo Pledge, the bold INCH Series, and the refined New Wave Connecticut. A visit here lets you witness the artistry behind some of the highest-rated cigars ever made.
Kelner Boutique Factory – KBF (Santiago)
Founded in 2012 by Hendrik Kelner Jr. of the renowned Kelner family, the Kelner Boutique Factory (KBF) represents innovation and independence in Dominican cigar making. After 18 years working at Tabadom Holding Inc., Hendrik Jr. launched his own blends, gaining international recognition through his long-term partnership with Jeremy Casdagli. Together, they created celebrated lines such as the Casdagli Traditional Line (2013), Club Mareva (2014), Basilica (2015), and Cabinet Selection (2016). Touring KBF is an intimate look into boutique cigar craftsmanship at its finest.
